Will Smith is drinking the Xenu juice

Wow, I thought we were gonna make it through the entire month of June without a “Will Smith is a Scientologist” story. From Life & Style magazine (via Pop Crunch):

Life & Style spies claim Will was chatting up the unorthodox religion to anyone who would listen on the set of his new film, Hancock, opening July 4th.

“He gave out Scientology-like pamphlets at the end of the shoot,” says biographer Andrew Morton, who published an unauthorized biography on Kooky Cruise last Winter.

“It’s also been said that he and Jada are homeschooling their children in Scientology methods,” Morton insists.

Will and Jada are also rumored to be financing the New Village Academy, a Scientology-associated school to open in Calabasas, California this Fall.

Morton explains: “So between that, the pamphlets, the school in Calabasas, and his close friendship with Tom, it seems all the evidence leads one to conclude that he is a part of this organization.”

Will Smith’s association with Scientology should really help box office sales. Lord/Xenu knows it’s helped Tom Cruise’s last few films. Perhaps it’s because this country still suffers from deep-seated intolerance that these days being associated with Scientology is worse for a actor’s career than being associated with drugs (Robert Downey Jr.), sexual deviancy (R. Kelly) or murder (Rebecca Gayheart). Or maybe it’s just because most* of us are sick of having celebrities cram their DICTUMS down our throats.

But they look so happy . . .

There’s been talk over the last few months that Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s seven-year marriage was falling apart and the two were on the verge of a split. A source revealed to UK tabloid the Daily Mirror that the rumors aren’t rumor: the two are definitley divorcing:

Madonna told Guy Ritchie she wants a divorce after the couple agreed they had fallen out of love. They admitted to each other that their seven-year marriage was doomed because they had simply drifted apart.

A friend said last night: “They were both very calm. Madonna told Guy: ‘I’m sorry, I want a divorce’. And he agreed. It was quite painless but very sad. [Guy’s] a bit down in the dumps, and who can blame him. He’s off to the country to get a bit of peace and quiet.”

Both parties have now talked to divorce lawyers to ensure that the break-up is orderly and as amicable as possible. Without a pre-nuptial agreement, Guy could be looking at up to £50million of Madge’s £300million fortune. (Source)

The most heartbreaking aspect of this whole divorce is that their son Rocco will now be forced to grow up in a broken home. I guess he better get used to asking one important question over and over and over and over again: “Excuse me mister, are you my new daddy?”

NOTE: Now that she’s no longer married to Guy, I wonder if Madonna will drop his last name . . . along with his accent?

Kevin Federline is reportedly being offered spokesmodel deal to the tune of seven figures. The Christopher Brian Collection wants him for their line, saying that they “feel Kevin would be a great model for the line.”

While this is allegedly in discussion, a “source” is stating that K-Fed hasn’t officially decided whether he will take the offer or not. Apparently Kevin is very busy with other projects right now and is working on his movie and music career.

I, uh, wasn’t aware he actually HAD a movie or music career, but I guess he can call it that.

Britney Spears scored another landmark in court and in her recovery process, overnight visitations. In the hearing, held yesterday, the commissioner recognized and appreciated “Britney’s progress” and decided to extend her visitations.

Here is a quick rundown of what happened:

• 8:15am: Team Britney announces the return of the family attorney, Laura Wasser. Wasser is the one who successfully negotiated a custody deal even when Britney was ’slipping’.
• 8:45am: Britney arrives in court, holding a newspaper over her face, and looking very sharp.
• 9:45am: Britney and Kevin are sworn in not before the commissioner clears up the courtroom heaving the two teams.
• 10:50am: Britney and Jamie take a bathroom break. Britney is described as “relaxed and confident.”
• 11:15am: Britney is leaving the courthouse.
• 11:20am: Court spokesperson speaks to the press.

I love this story… Remember the report that Jamie Lynn Spears left the hospital yesterday afternoon in a car driven by Casey Aldridge? Well that was just to confuse the enemy…

While the media was flooded with rumors that Jamie Lynn will not go home after the birth everyone expected her to go to Serenity. Well their car did go to Serenity but Jamie Lynn was not in the car…

OK reports today:

Many reporters and photographers fell victim to a well-choreograped ruse, which had Casey and Lynne drive back to Serenity with a Jamie Lynn look-alike in the back of the car, thus allowing mom and daughter to make their exit in private, driven separately by private security guards and escorted by state troopers back to their home in Liberty.

Good job guys!
