I’m sure she was never asked, but made a cameo appearance in a political advertisement for John McCain. It’s only about one second. At the beginning of a McCain-sponsored anti- ad, we see a quick flash of and then , followed by while the narrator says, “He’s the biggest celebrity in the world.”

According to The Huffington Post:

“What we decided to do is find the top three international celebrities in the world, and I would say from our indications, Britney and Paris came in second and third,” said campaign manager Rick Davis. “Will people think of this as negative advertising? Look, it is the most entertaining thing I have seen on TV in a while.” He went on: “It is not our campaign that is trying to make him into an international celebrity. It’s his campaign… I don’t know and but they are international celebrities, so, you know, apples to apples.”

It’s kind of interesting. So many people get annoyed at the attention celebrities receive on a constant basis, but it seems like people can also use that to their advantage if they want.

And of course, how feels about being thrown into a political campaign all depends on whether she plans to vote for McCain or !
