Gary has that number on his speed dial

Gary Coleman allegedly ran over a dude on Saturday night in Payson, Utah. While leaving a bowling alley, 24-year-old Diff’rent Strokes fan Colt Rushton asked Coleman to stop for a cell phone pic. According to Coleman’s bodyguard (he can afford a bodyguard!), Rushton wouldn’t take no for an answer and became “very aggressive.” As Coleman was backing out of his parking spot, Rushton ran behind his car and was accidentally hit. Or maybe it didn’t happen like that. From ABC4 in Utah:

Rushton tells ABC4 a different account of what happened. He says Coleman’s wife took his cell phone, that Coleman threw several punches at him before getting behind the wheel of his truck. Rushton says he was trying to get his cell phone from Coleman when he put his truck in gear and struck Rushton knocking him to the ground.

Police say no one has been arrested or cited and say there’s some indication alcohol was a factor. [Coleman’s bodyguard] says it shows just how far some people will go to harass a celebrity. “They’re just like you and me. They want to be able to go out and do things and enjoy life.” Rushton claims his cell phone was taken by the Colemans and given back to him by investigators with all his stored information deleted. The Payson Police say it a case still under investigation. (Source)

The most surprising thing about this story? That Gary Coleman bowls. The poor little guy probably has to use a bocce ball. Seriously though, can you really blame Gary for running someone over? Without his booster chair, he couldn’t see over the steering wheel. The one bit of silver lining in this whole ordeal for this asshole Rushton dude: Hollywood paparazzi agencies are in a bidding war for his services.

Kim Kardashian already planning her wedding to Reggie Bush

Even though her boyfriend Reggie hasn’t technically asked her to get married yet, Kim Kardashian is already planning their wedding. Note to Reggie Bush: RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN! Kim told In Touch Weekly:

“I was in Vegas last weekend for a bachelorette party and saw how hectic it is to plan a wedding, so I’ve decided to start planning mine before being asked!”

A close friend of the couple, who have been dating for more than a year, reveals that Kim, 27, and Reggie, 23, will eventually tie the knot. “They’re in love, but football practice is starting — so no wedding bells for at least six months to a year.” Reggie would be Kim’s second husband: she was wed to Damon Thomas from 2000–04.

This is just wishful thinking on Kim’s part. Professional athletes don’t get married, they get paternity tests. Besides, if Kim does end up getting married, she’s gonna have a hard time finding a wedding dress with a train long enough to cover her ass. At least I’ll know the perfect wedding gift to send them when their big day does come: a beautiful four-tiered urinal cake.

Are Britney Spears and Adnan Ghalib meeting in secret? This steamy rumor which initially sounded “out there” has made it into MSN.com and deserves at least a mention.

Word has it that Adnan is holding a Britney Spears sex tape which was filmed during the two’s vacation in Rosarito and in order to try and block an option that the tape will come out be sold to media outlets, Britney feels as if getting close to Adnan may help in blocking such sale. So, while this is not necessarily romantic, Adnan has been seen entering Britney’s guarded community a few times recently.

But they look so happy . . .

There’s been talk over the last few months that Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s seven-year marriage was falling apart and the two were on the verge of a split. A source revealed to UK tabloid the Daily Mirror that the rumors aren’t rumor: the two are definitley divorcing:

Madonna told Guy Ritchie she wants a divorce after the couple agreed they had fallen out of love. They admitted to each other that their seven-year marriage was doomed because they had simply drifted apart.

A friend said last night: “They were both very calm. Madonna told Guy: ‘I’m sorry, I want a divorce’. And he agreed. It was quite painless but very sad. [Guy’s] a bit down in the dumps, and who can blame him. He’s off to the country to get a bit of peace and quiet.”

Both parties have now talked to divorce lawyers to ensure that the break-up is orderly and as amicable as possible. Without a pre-nuptial agreement, Guy could be looking at up to £50million of Madge’s £300million fortune. (Source)

The most heartbreaking aspect of this whole divorce is that their son Rocco will now be forced to grow up in a broken home. I guess he better get used to asking one important question over and over and over and over again: “Excuse me mister, are you my new daddy?”

NOTE: Now that she’s no longer married to Guy, I wonder if Madonna will drop his last name . . . along with his accent?

They’ve been dating for about a year now, and now Uma Thurman and her financier beau Arpad “Arki” Busson are engaged to be married.

Reportedly the “Pulp Fiction” actress received a diamond ring so big, “she can’t fit it through the sleeve of her coat.” When she wore it to a recent Elton John AIDS benefit, “all the ladies’ eyes were buggin’ out,” said a source.

Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson at San Diego International Airport (6/1)

Papa Joe Simpson is basically ruining his daughter Jessica’s life. It’s been widely reported that an overbearing Joe was behind Jessica and boyfriend Tony Romo’s split. The couple has since gotten back together but with the understanding that Joe back off. Oops, someone forgot to tell Joe. A source told Us Weekly that Joe recently asked Tony to drop his agent so he could manage his NFL career and .5 million contract. Another source revealed to Us that Joe’s pressuring the couple to get married so he can sell the exclusive pictures to the tabloids:

“‘If you guys have a marriage, I can do the same [sell it] that I did with Ashlee,’” a source quotes Joe as saying.

When asked for comment by Us, Joe defended himself, telling Us, “It’s unfair to criticize me for what every manager does for his or her clients. And in this business, where people can quickly turn on you, who better than a parent to be working for his children?” (Source)

Joe later added “Psssssst, you want your own authentic Jessica Simpson baby? I can get eggs from her — I’ve done it before. Girl is dumber than a bag of hammers. I’ll tell her she needs to get to her tonsils removed again. When she’s under, a slice her, a slice there, bam, we got eggs — 0k — half up front. If you buy two, I’ll throw in a lock of Ashlee’s hair.”

Have you or anyone you know ever under pressure to call off a wedding for whatever reason? I know I have and to be honest, it totally sucks, doesn’t it?

Well is seems as if the pressure that was put on Jamie Lynn Spears to (at least) delay the wedding worked and she decided to pause all plans for upcoming wedding.

One witness for In Touch overheard Jamie Lynn saying “I don’t want to get married with a big bump under my dress.” Another “witness” mentioned a “continued tension between Jamie Lynn and her mother Lynn” on the wedding issue as the reason for the delay.
