Joaquin Phoenix is “slow”

Even though there’s no way it’s actually gonna happen and the only reason he said it is because he was probably high (according to today’s New York Post), Joaquin Phoenix announced last week that he’s quitting acting to focus on his music career. He really drove home the point Saturday at the Hollywood premiere of Che when he wrote “Bye! Good” on his knuckles. Bye! Good. Wow, I bet it looks really clever to those of us with dyslexia. In other news, because of an unexpected early retirement, Hollywood announced today that it’s accepting applications for a new village idiot.

Kate Hudson is bitchy

Kate Hudson acted like a total bitch last week at the premiere party for The Rachel Zoe Project held at Gramercy Park Hotel in New York. From the New York Post:

Kate Hudson shocked partiers Thursday night with her “nasty and rude” demeanor. Hudson arrived . . . in “an absolutely foul mood,” our spy said. “She was almost indignant waiting for a friend to arrive.” When the friend came, Hudson and pal got in an elevator headed to the rooftop party, but the actress became incensed when there were too many people around her. “In the elevator she kept screeching, ‘I’m freaking out! It’s too much!’ while waving her arms around.” When she arrived at the roof, Hudson shunned the press line, claiming, “I don’t do that,” before going into a corner and demanding a bodyguard. I hate this bitch. First she leaves her husband for one of her co-stars. Then she tries to break up other people’s marriages. And then she almost causes Owen Wilson to kill himself. Despite all that, she has the nerve to act like she’s better than everybody else. Trust me Kate — trust me — your shit stinks just like everybody else. Oh, and the lock’s loose on your master bathroom window.

Out in NYC following Thursday’s Los Angeles premiere of his new movie “Wanted”, James McAvoy and wife Anne-Marie Duff were spotted enjoying a romantic walk around Soho on Saturday (June 21).

Strolling around hand-in-hand, the 29-year-old Scottish actor and his actress wife of two years are currently away from their London home as James takes on the promotional duties for “Wanted” while co-star Angelina Jolie readies for the birth of her baby twins.

Kim Kardashian at the Hancock premiere in London (6/18)

Kim Kardashian is one of the worst types of human beings imaginable. No, not a child molester — a line cutter. Earlier this month, Kim jumped to the front of the line at an L.A. Starbucks using a pretty lame excuse. A source told Star:

“Kim walked right to the front and started ordering. She said she had to get in and out quickly because there were photographers waiting outside to take her picture and she needed to rush back out.” (Source)

Wouldn’t it be nice if Kim was the other kind of cutter? At least then we’d presumably get a reprieve from seeing her fat ass in a bathing suit while her wounds healed. Frankly I think Kim just got confused when she saw the line of men at Starbucks — she did what came naturally to her — she got to the front of it.

She’s been blasting stereotypes and societal norms ever since her MTV reality show A Shot at Love first hit the airwaves.  And now Tila Tequila is taking credit for the State of California’s decision to drop the ban on gay marriage.

At the Hollywood premiere of “The Love Guru” last night at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, Tila told press, “Before it came out, everyone was still a little apprehensive about [same sex relationships].  Then they realized, ‘Wow, everyone is really into this stuff, and it is fine.’ The next thing you know, [gay marriage] is legal.”
